Vibratory flat lap machines allow you to grind and polish flat faces on rocks. It is best to start with the relatively flat face of a saw cut. We offer a vibratory flat lap grit and polishing kit at the bottom of this page.

Diamond Pacific Double Deck Vibratory Flat Lap:

Diamond Pacific only makes heavy duty flat laps. This Model DL-18 has two pans mounted vertically, so you can grind and polish at the same time. It has a 1/15 Horse Power 50/60 Hz motor that runs at 1550 RPM and draws 2.1 amps.

Vi-Bro-Laps come with a powerful 1/3 horsepower motor and are Diamond Pacific's industrial duty flat laps. The lap plate has a grinding surface on one side and a polishing surface on the other. So, when your grinding process is over, just flip the plate over and start polishing. Can accommodate several pieces at a time. Note: there is an additional crating fee of $150.00 for the 20" model and $165.00 for the 27" unit.
