Ten inch saws allow you to slice pieces of rough up to about 3 inches in thickness into slabs. Generally, the harder and denser the material being cut, the thicker the blade, because the extra blade thickness helps increase cutting speed. We only sell the Covington Slab saws listed on another page. Slab Saws Slab saws allow you to slice large pieces of cabbing rough into slabs. They have larger diameter blades than trim saws, and the blades also tend to be thicker than those used on trim saws. The extra blade thickness helps increase cutting speed. We carry saws that will accommodate blades 10" on up. We only sell saws by Covington Engineering. For 10" saws, click here.
