Slab Saws we Do Not sell:

Ten inch saws allow you to slice pieces of rough up to about 3 inches in thickness into slabs.  Generally, the harder and denser the material being cut, the thicker the blade, because the extra blade thickness helps increase cutting speed.

We only sell the Covington Slab saws listed on another page. Slab Saws

Slab saws allow you to slice large pieces of cabbing rough into slabs.  They have larger diameter blades than trim saws, and the blades also tend to be thicker than those used on trim saws.  The extra blade thickness helps increase cutting speed.

We carry saws that will accommodate blades 10" on up.  We only sell saws by Covington Engineering.

Diamond Pacific:

Diamond Pacific TR slab saws have a very large vise.

Diamond Pacific TR saws have the following features:

  • Powerglide Hydraulic Feed system, which provides even pressure on the rock as it is cut by the blade.
  • Multi-Stage Filter and Recircuating System keeps the oil running clean and makes the nasty job of cleaning up your saw and oil much easier and less messy.
  • Cut-Off Switch turns the saw off when slabbing operation is finished.


NOTE: Diamond Pacific Saws do not come with a blade. Blades have to be purchased separately. The price of Diamond Pacific slab saws does not include crating fees.

Diamond Pacific Saws feature a hydraulic feed. The hydraulic feature even brings the vise back to the front of the saw, when the lever is pulled to the return position.

A vise with large capacity is a nice feature in all Diamond Pacific slab saws.

Soda not included with saw.

Small handles make for difficult tightening of a workpiece in the vise as well as moving the vise toward and away from the blade. The vise assembly is pushed into the blade as it rides on a 3-point V-Guide Rail System.
