Covington Gem Drills
Covington Gem Drills come with a 1/4" Jacobs chuck. The Model 600 Automatic Gem Drill is best suited for softer stones. The Model 605 Manual Gem Drill works well with both hard and soft materials.
Model 600 The Model 600 features electronic feed that raises and lowers the drill chuck automatically at 1/4". The feed mechanism uses very light pressure, so diamond coated drill bits can be used without fear of them constantly breaking. Drilling time with the Model 600 takes longer than on the Manual Gem Drill, but the automated feature makes it a convenient machine. When using drill tubes and the boron carbide grit, this machine is very economical to use. Comes complete with motor, Jacobs chuck, two 1-1/2mm and 2mm diamond drill bits, plastic putty for holding the workpiece, instructions and guarantee.
